Dinner with Friends - Brined Turkey Dinner + All The Fixings

This meal comes with a fresh medium brined JD Farms turkey [uncooked], seasonings, gravy, and all the pre-made Friends of Legends fixings.
How Pre-Order Works
Available for delivery between October 7th - 10th.
If you are looking to add on items for immediate delivery, please place a separate order with your desired delivery date. Once an order is placed it cannot be split up.
Step 1 - Place your turkey in a baking pan/roasting dish, breast side up with the wings tucked under the turkey. Do this either on a grate or bed of mirepoix [carrots/onions/celery]. At this stage you can also stuff your turkey with onions/citrus/herbs if you wish. Pat your turkey dry with a paper towel to help ensure the crispiest skin.
Step 2 - Preheat your oven to 325F.
Step 3 - Melt some butter and brush it onto the entire outside of the turkey. Be generous here as butter makes everything better!!
Step 4 - Place your turkey in the preheated oven.
Step 5 - The general rule is 20 minutes per lb, but preferably use a thermometer to test your turkey after 3 hours.
Step 6- After 3 hours, check the temperature under the leg. This is the deepest part of the turkey and will reach the desired temperature last. You want this to read 160-165F before pulling the bird out. A small turkey should take 2.5 hours on average, a medium 3 hours and a large 3.5 hours.
Step 7 - Once you pull your turkey from the oven, restrain from carving for at least a half hour. This will let it relax and ensure your turkey stays moist.
